Topic : Love • Historic Building

Historic buildings are precious cultural properties consisting of our ancestors’ culture, arts, science and technology, and many other historic values. They are evidence of the history and illustration of cultural value and spirit. We could appreciate more than their unique styles and attractiveness, but also about how much a nation had accomplished in the past with its superior technology and cultural development. The topic is developed to enhance students’ knowledge of historic buildings, leading them to be inspired by the aesthetic designs. Through this essay competition, we encourage them to share their understandings of historic buildings and to develop basic concepts of preserving the historic value. In addition to the better understanding of historic buildings, students participating in this competition may also develop a more articulated writing ability. It is an important event to promote how should we cherish and preserve these precious properties of human history.

Personal Digital Learning Portfolio

Athena Space has developed a personal digital learning portfolio for every student to review all the essays and the history of the assessment scores. The information provides Students with a base to improve the results gradually. Please continue to join the competition and set a higher goal for yourselves.

Award Presentation Date

	Essay Content (30%) Proper use of vocabularies, sentences, punctuation, and rhetoric. Proper structure and organization. Correct presentation of the theme.		Essay Summary (15%) Compliance with the request and a proper connection between essay title and content. Concise and precise of the summary description.
	Design of the Original Artwork (15%) Proper matching of graphic design and essay content. Artistic layout of the graphic design and the essay content.		Creative Ideas (15%) Articles concentrate on the theme , and shows a new show love. Historical building new ideas. Graphic designs and text descriptions are applied to illustrate the creativity.
	Oral & Video Presentation (15%) Overall expression style to deliver the theme of the essay. Presentation skills are correctly applied. Demonstration of the passion and confidence.
